On a wooden platform a crowned goose, representing George III, lays its head on the executioner's block. To the left standing over the goose is a fox with a raised axe. On the far left Lord North and on the right a young man (the Prince of Wales?) dance with joy at each end of the scaffold. A satire on the Prince's dislike of the King and his association with Charles Fox

Through the window in the upper left corner of the image, William Petty, Lord Shelburne, watches the candidates for the new ministry vomiting on the articles of the peace treaty with the United States as they lean on "posts" they hope to be awarded. Above them hovers a bat-like devil saying, "These posts my dears are temporal / I have posts below which you shall have eternal."

Heads of the members of the new ministry stand on wig blocks in a barber's shop. The barber washes his hands in a bowl attached to a double stand with the bewildered looking head of Lord North and the happily smiling one of Charles Fox on it. Behind them stand blocks with the heads of the Duke of Portland, Lords Cavendish, Stormont (David Murray), Carlisle, and Admiral Keppel. Samuel House, a well known Fox supporter, and a plebeian politician, is seated, with his tankard in his hand, in a chair placed next to Keppel's head. The head of Burke behind him wears an unhappy expression, perhaps at the distance between him and the other cabinet members. Behind the barber on the floor lie the discarded heads of former ministers, the Duke of Grafton, Lord Shelburne, and Dundas. Above on the wall are mirror images of Charles I and Cromwell, ready to embrace each other. "A new Map of Great Britain and Ireland" above the fireplace is torn between Ireland and the British Isle on which the name 'England' is conspicously absent below Scotland and Wales

Charles Fox vomits into his turban as he sits cross-legged on a mangy-looking ass with Lord North's face. The ass is being led by a female figure symbolizing the City of London and followed by Burke, dressed as a Jesuit, barefoot and bald, reading the "Sinners Guide." On the right, the King is leaning out of an open window of the India House waving the cap of liberty on a stick. A paper with the words 'India Bill' crossed out, hangs from the window, below which the wall is inscribed, "Business done as usual." A large sun in a royal crown rises above the roof

A series of ten images showing the rise and fall of the Fox-North Coalition. In the first image, Charles Fox, shown as a fox, speaks to the crowd in front of the Covent Garden Church. In the second one, Lord North, the 'country gentleman' leading sheep on strings, makes an agreement with Fox, who leads the 'Wes[tminste]r geese' on strings. The third image shows Fox speaking to a crowd in a rotunda, while in the fourth one he is stoking a fire around a pole topped with the liberty cap and the India charter suspended from it. In the fifth image, North and Fox, sharing one coat, stand on a plinth signed, "Power." The sixth image shows Fox ascending in an air balloon while the next one shows him falling head-down into a "pitt." In the eighth image, the two politicians are being rejected by the figure of Britannia, who refuses to look at them, instead pointing to the gallows in the background. This condemnation results in their execution, together with Burke, in the ninth image. In the tenth image, all three are shown as well-known mythological sinners in Hades; Burke submerged up to his neck as Tantalus, Fox stretched on a wheel as Iion, and North as Sisyphus pushing a large boulder
