The face of Napoleon is formed of carcases of war victims: on the collar are waves of the sea; a "hand" is placed as the epaulet while on the cuff is 'R' (for Regent), round the wrist 'Honi Soit ', on the fingers are the letters 'A', 'R', 'P', 'S', 'E' (for the Allies). A drawing the Rhenish Confedracy [sic] under the flimsy symbol of the cobweb: and the "spider" is a symbolic emblem of the vigilance of the Allies
