- Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of 8 primarily melancholy poems copied from various authors, on such subjects as love, solitude, and loneliness. The collection contains Alexander Pope's Eloise to Abelard; Mrs. Madan's Abelard to Eloisa; Aaron Hill's Alone in an inn at Southampton Court; and William Congreve's To a candle. Other titles include The late Lord Harvey to Mr. Fox; The castle top, wrote by a lad at Winchester School; and A hermit's meditation.

- Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of fifteen 18th-century satirical poems, epigrams, and epitaphs. The poems are primarily political and satirize the royal family and the ministry of Sir Robert Walpole, 1st earl of Orford. The volume includes such titles as A song made on the funeral of the Duke of Marlborough; The brothers; Norfolk hours; and General Churchill's address to Venus. Authors represented in the collection include Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th earl of Chesterfield, John Hervey, baron Hervey of Ickworth, and Samuel Westley, while the satiric butts of the poem include King George II; Caroline, queen of George II; Sir Robert Walpole, and John Churchill, 1st duke of Marlborough. The manuscript also contains a serious epitaph for Henry Saint-John, 1st viscount Bolingbroke.

The journal volume contains "An Account of the Journall of a Voyage from England to Bengall...in the Worcester East Indiaman commanded by Captn. Thomas Bowrey...1689...1691;" "A Description & account of the Different Islands & bays on the NW Coast...and Likewise the Behaviour of the Natives from Each different place," with three coastal maps; drawings of an escutcheon and a burial monument; leasehold accounts; and extracts from Shakespeare.
