- Letter signed from Queen Elizabeth to Sir George Carew, Lieutenant-General of the Ordnance, bearing the authority of the petty seal of the Signet. Queen Elizabeth instructs Sir George to transport all manner of ordnance from the Tower of London to the northern border towns of Berwick, Newcastle, and Carlisle.
