Pair of wash drawings, one above the other, showing overall and detail views of the bronze hand kept by Horace Walpole in the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. Described by Walpole as "an Egyptian hieroglyphic hand," this sculpture is shown in the top drawing to stand upright with the wrist as its base. The thumb, index finger, and middle finger point upwards with items balancing upon their tips; the last two fingers are curled inward towards the palm. The bottom drawing shows in detail the pictures and symbols that decorate the palm and back side of the hand; these include a snake that wraps around the entirety of the hand

Watercolor drawing of one of four panels, formerly the doors to a shrine in the abbey of St. Edmundsbury, that were kept by Horace Walpole in the Chapel at Strawberry Hill. This panel shows an unidentified older man, whole-length directed to the left, bald, wearing a red robe, leaning on the cane in his right hand and holding a hat in his left hand. A stable housing a cow and a horse(?) is directly behind him; a heraldic shield hands from the roof of the stable. Walpole described this scene as "a person in the act of adoration in a stable" in his Description of Strawberry Hill
