In Latin., Script: copied by one hand in highly abbreviated Gothica Cursiva Libraria., The entire manuscript is damaged by moisture and the text has become extremely pale or is entirely lost on sections of almost all pages. Brittle lower edges., and Binding: S. XVII (?) binding: brown blind-tooled leather over bevelled wooden boards. Both covers decorated with frames of fillets and rolls, the central panel with a strapwork pattern. Two clasps attached to the front board, with rectangular decorated brass catches on the rear board.
Manuscript on parchment (thick, stiff) of 1) Record of those for whom memorial prayers were to be said during November, divided into 6 estaciones, with a total of 501 memoriae. The place where the prayer is to be said is often given; from those mentioned, the church in question can be identified as the Cathedral of Cordoba. Still at the Cathedral in 1625, when memoriae for Don Diego de Mardones were added. 2) Prayers for the Dead

In Latin and Spanish., Script: Written by a single scribe in rotunda, very well executed, with additions at end of estaciones in rotunda and humanistic script, by later hands., Initials, ff. 20r-21v (2-line), in alternating red with purple penwork and blue with red penwork. 1-line capitals sometimes have yellow wash. Rubrics in orange-tinted red, paragraph marks in blue. Added memoriae for Don Diego de Mardones have elaborate penwork cadeaux at the beginning., Offset impression of red lines (from pastedowns or flyleaves now lost?) appear on ff. 1r (running vertically) and 21v (horizontally); no loss of text., and Binding: Sixteenth century. Resewn on three small, vegetable fiber supports laced into wooden boards. The spine is square and lined with vellum between the supports. Covered in tan sheepskin blind-tooled with a floral roll border and arabesques in the center. A paper label on the upper cover: "Noviembre." Rebacked.

In Latin., Script: Written in large round gothic bookhand with red and black accent marks for recitation., The fourteen full-page miniatures constitute the most extensive extant cycle by the "Spanish Forger". All pages with miniatures have full borders of scrolling acanthus in red, blue, green and purple with hair-spray and gold balls. 3- and 2-line initials, red or blue, with purple or red penwork (6-line on f. 134r). Rubrics throughout., and Binding: Date? Worn red velvet with a silver-gilt crucifix (a fairly recent addition?) on the upper board. Brass clasp engraved with "S. Maria/ ora pro nobis." Rebacked.

In Spanish., Watermarks: similar to Briquet Main 11154., Script: Written by a single scribe in a neat humanistic bookhand, with a somewhat smaller script for the surrounding commentary., Two initials (both f. 1r), the first, 5-line, for the rubric, purple with red penwork; immediately below, the second, for the text, 9-line, the upper portion red, filled with purple penwork, the lower portion purple, filled with red; attached to a thick bar border (side and lower margins) of red and purple vine scrolls in pen, with touches of light brown. One 7-line initial (f. 88r) red, with purple penwork, with exuberant loops and flourishes extending into top and side margins. Depictions of various implements, in black, within text (ff. 37v, 72v, 114r, 115r, 125r, 127r, and 137r). 3-line initials, paragraph marks, and headings in red throughout (except f. 1r, on which, in keeping with the initials, some of the paragraph marks are purple)., and Binding: 17th-18th centuries. Limp vellum case; title, now illegible, on spine. Front and back pastedown and back flyleaf contain extensive Latin legal references (17th century).

In Latin., Script: original text and additions copied in extremely large Southern (Spanish) Gothica Textualis Formata (Textus Praescissus), with music notation in nota quadrata., Richly decorated with red rubrics and painted initials., and Binding: s. XVI: undecorated brown leather over heavy wooden boards, sewn on four double cords. On both covers four large engraved brass corner pieces and more centrally five smaller engraved brass bosses. The leather damaged and several metal pieces lost. On the front cover upside down large number "26" in white paint. On the rear cover four engraved brass catches for clasps (one both at the top and at the bottom edge, and two at the outer edge), and eight nails towards the top probably for fixing a fenestra with title label (now lost). Leather tabs partly with Spanish inscriptions pasted on the outer edges of the leaves.
