Titles etched below images., Later state, with both images contained within double border lines added along edge of plate., Two images on one plate, each with a separate title and signature. Imprint statement appears twice, once below each title., Late-20th century restrike on modern paper, with pencil annotation "RP/77" in lower right that suggests a 1977 printing date. The copper plate would have been in the possession of the successor Leadenhall Press in England at the time, according to Nicholas J.S. Knowles., For the original issue of the plate, see nos. 6868 and 6869 in the Catalogue of prints and drawings in the British Museum. Division I, political and personal satires, v. 6., and Cf.
