No. 1938-223-42), on which the contemporary statement of responsibility "by Mrs. Simcoe 1794" is written in ink., After a drawing by British Lieutenant Governor Henry Hamilton, who travelled with Pacanne during the American Revolution. The original drawing is now housed at the Houghton Library at Harvard., A slightly later date is suggested by a contemporary ink annotation beneath plate mark on Lewis Walpole Library impression: An Indian Chief N.
