Description:: Title from print in upper right., Sheet trimmed within plate mark with loss of docket title and associated text. Perimeter of the design has been heavily inked in black, obscuring all but the images of the prints. The gold coin has been decorated with gold lead and the background of this print is also heavily inked in black., A composite of images and verses to form a greeting card, folded for mailing as advertisement for Bickham's engravings. Abstract:: "Heading to a broadside printed in two columns. In a coop (right) are cocks and hens with human heads, the foreign witnesses against Queen Caroline. Sidmouth empties coins from a large green bag into their feeding trough, resting one foot on an apothecary's pestle and mortar. On the extreme left is a countryman in a smock who hands a letter to Castlereagh, saying: "Your Servent Sirs, I be com'd from a great fat Gentleman at W--d--r who wishes to know whether your Foreign Brood feeds well and if they are likely to pay for their keeping and he hopes, you'll keep a strict Eye over 'em and not let 'em take Flight as he understands they are very shy--and he says you shou'd look to their Plumage as he dont know but they may soon be made a Show of." Castlereagh, who holds a scourge, answers: "They thrive so fast they'll soon be fit for use--The Napoleons are more fattening than Caroline Rice but I'm rather afraid of that Rastellian Capon he seems to wish to peck his way out and be off--I'm afraid he's drank too much from the Po-Well as the water at present is rather Stagnated and now he's in good condition the Milan Springs [see British Museum Satires No. 13755, &c.] must be more palatable." Liverpool stands with a hand on Castlereagh's shoulder, silently holding a large purse inscribed 'Treasury Grain'. His back is to Sidmouth, who says: "True good C--r--gh I do declare they have Molted well already what a wonderful change--& if Brougham dont clip their Wings they'll amply repay us for our trouble for they can (according to the Old Proverb) Lie as fast as a Cock pecks Barley." Majocchi looks out through the bars, saying: "I am Cock of the Walk. If you wish more to know I'm the Infamous Segnior Non mi Ri cor do" [see British Museum Satires No. 13827]. Louise Demont looks up pertly: "Once Femme De Chambre To the Queen Now I support Sids Bag of Green [see British Museum Satires No. 13735] Doodle doo." Rastelli: "I think I've had too much good living--and as I've a great weight in my Chest a Complain [sic] incidental to Cotton Yard I'll take the earliest opportunity of leaving the Coop-- besides who knows but that Phisicians Brougham and Co. might prescribe Rue and other obnoxious drugs as a remedy for the Complain." ...."--British Museum online catalogue

Abstract:: "Twelve figures arranged in two rows, each representing Dundas (not caricatured) in one of his capacities, title and words etched above each. [1] 'A Governor of the Charter House'. He walks (left to right), looking down at a document in his left hand and saying: "How I venerate Charters". [2] 'Joint Keeper of the Signet in Scotland'. He holds out his left hand looking admiringly at a signet ring: "a vera pretty Seal ring worth £2000 a Year". [3] 'Chancellor of the University of St Andrew'. He sits directed to the left in a high-backed arm-chair wearing academic cap and long gown: "There is great weight and Dignity in a gown and Square Cap." [4] 'Patent Printer of the Bible in Scotland'. He sits in dressing-gown, cap, and slippers at a printing-press of the Caxton type, saying: "This printing and composing is vera tedious, but as it brings in about £6000 per Annum I must noe loose sight of it." [5] 'Custos Rotulorum for Middlesex'. He sits pompously in a high-backed chair wearing an old-fashioned cocked hat and laced coat, saying: "A little Consequence is very necessary in a custos Rotulorum". [6] 'A Treasurer of the Navy'. He sits at a table on which are money-bags and piles of coin, which he is counting: "Ah! this is pretty neat employment I love to count over the Siller." [7] 'A Governor of Greenwich Hospital'. He stands, wearing cocked hat and uniform, in profile to the right, right hand on his hip, left hand on the hilt of a sword: "a naval uniform is vera becoming." [8] 'A Commissioner of Chelsea Hospital'. He stands with arms folded, wearing cocked hat with military uniform: "As is also that of the Miliatory in due season." [9] 'A Commissioner for India Affairs'. He stands with his back to a group of barrels and chests, turning to the right: "What are ye aboot ye lazy loons, why are not these goods shipp'd off for India d'ye mean to do nothing at aw' for your money." [10] 'Governor of the Bank of Scotland'. He stands in profile to the left, 'chapeau-bras', one hand thrust under his waistcoat and wearing an old-fashioned wig: "This is what I call snug - vera little trouble." [11] 'A Secretary'. Abstract:: Wellington in civilian dress stands between two fat bishops wearing mitres pulling each by an ear as they vomit huge streams of gold coins into a large wooden tub that is labeled: Receptacle for the poor curates, repairs of churches, and support of paupers. A spout from the tub funnels coins into a smaller tub from which a man shovels coins into money bags which are labelled: For curates, Repairs of Churches, Support of Paupers. Two thin curates walk away with bags labelled 'Poor curates' as one says, "Thanks to the Powers that has relieved our Wants." From the cherub's horn blow the words: "See the conquering hero comes."
Description:: Title from item., Figure of a sharpshooter is the device of John Phillips., In the subtitle " ... or The tithes in danger" the word 'tithes' has been etched in over the word 'Church' which has been scored through with several etched lines., and Signed by the printmaker using an artist's device: a figure of sharpshooter in the imitation of the 'Paul Pry' signature.

Abstract:: Depiction of eleven antiquarian coins, numbered in Roman numerals from I to XI. The eight at the top of the plate have the obverse shown above and the reverse below (the two sides connected by a double line), and the three at the bottom of the plate have the obverse shown on the left and the reverse shown on the right (similarly connected by lines).
