"A companion print to British Museum Satires No. 7029. Johnson (left) climbs up a mountain on hands and knees, his oak stick in his left hand. Boswell follows, also on hands and knees; he licks Johnson's posteriors, saying, "I shall record this". Johnson says, "Come Bossy". Behind and below them a loch and mountain (right) are indicated. Boswell as an ape with a quasi-human head is seated on the bear's back facing the tail, which he holds up, beckoning with his right hand to two bare-legged men in Highland dress who are climbing up the mountain behind Johnson.
