- Abstract:
- Drawing showing the interior of the Great North Bedchamber at Strawberry Hill. A canopy bed is centered against the back wall, flanked on either side by two chairs and two hanging paintings. At right is the chimney-piece of Portland stone and gilt designed by Horace Walpole from the tomb of W. Dudley, Bishop of Durham, in Westminster Abbey; a firescreen and two red china bottles are seen sitting in front of the fireplace, while the large picture of Henry 8th and his children is seen hanging above. On the wall at left are two bow windows, the arched tops of which are painted with coats of arms. Between the windows hangs a large mirror, above which hangs a painting and below which sits a table with three vases on it. A clock hangs above another chair on the extreme right. The walls are covered in crimson Norwich damask; two crimson rugs cover the floor, one beneath the bed and the other in the center of the room. The celing is decorated with a geometric pattern in gold

- Drawing of the Armory at Strawberry Hill. On display in an alcove on the left is the armor of Francis I, to the right of which hangs the shield painted with the head of Perseus. Other armor and weapons are displayed on a wall near the center of the design. Two thin columns extend down from the ceiling with decorative arches formed between them. A stained glass window is visible on the back wall, and the ornate railing of a staircase is present in the left foreground. A quiver with arrows (?) hangs on the wall in the right foreground; various armorial shields and pieces of art also decorate the walls. A vase and a carved box sit on the floor

- Drawing of the interior of the printing house at Strawberry Hill. Two rooms are visible; the room on the left, which occupies most of the drawing, is lined with windows on the back and left walls and has a fireplace on the right wall. A man stands at a composing frame at the back of the room setting type from the copy propped on the upper case; lower tables line the walls in front of the windows at left, and other furniture occupies the back right corner of the room. In the foreground the doorway on the right gives a partial view of the second room containing two printing presses. A man can be seen working the common press for printing the letterpress text; to the left are two of the handles of the star-wheel of a rolling press for printing intaglio plates (copper plates); above, sheets of printed paper have been hung to dry on lines strung across the room. The floors and ceilings of both rooms are plain and undecorated; a few framed pictures hang on the walls
