- Watercolor drawing of the interior of the Great Cloyster at Strawberry Hill. The eight ancient Welsh chairs line the wall at right; four stands line the opposite wall at left, which is punctuated with arched openings to the outside. Plant boxes, trees, and the lawn are visible through the arched openings. One of the two blue and white china flower pots is visible in an alcove at the far end of the room, and the side of the antique marble vase with Greek inscription can be seen in an alcove in the wall on the right. - A drawing of the library at Horace Walpole's home, Strawberry Hill in Twickenham. Shelves with Gothic arches line three walls and are filled with books; on the back wall is a large arched window and two small rose windows filled with painted glass. On the far left is the chimney-piece imitated from the tomb of John of Eltham, Earl of Cornwall in Westminster Abbey, over which the painting of The Marriage of Henry VI hangs. In front of the fireplace is a desk on which Mrs. Damer's terra-cotta eagle sits in its glass case. Half of the ceiling painted by Clermont from Walpole's designs is visible at top; oval and rectangular paintings line the walls above the bookshelves
