Catherine of Alexandria, written for an audience of nuns (see the frequent allusions to Christ as “sposo celeste”) by a Dominican friar whose initials are F.N.F. There are many important changes and additions by a slightly later, rapid hand., and Script: the original text copied by a single hand, writing Humanistica Cursiva. The changes and additions are written in Humanistica Cursiva Currens under Gothic influence.

- Binding: Parchment wrappers with turned edges., Contemporary pagination contains some errors., Red stroking of majuscules on pp. 1-11, 22-31, 44-51, 64-73, 88-93 only.There is ample space for headings and initials (with guide letters), but they have not been executed, except headings in Gothica Textualis on pp. 46, 49, 51, 66, 71, 92; plain red Gothic initials (4 lines) on pp. 46 , 49, 51, 66, 71, 92; a few initials have been entered at a later date., and Script: Copied by two scribes: artt. 1-3 copied by a scribe called Stephanus in Humanistica Semitextualis Libraria; according to Barbero this scribe is perhaps identifiable with Stefano Guarnieri; art. 4 is by a scribe writing a script halfway between Humanistica Textualis Libraria and Cursiva Libraria. The opening majuscules of paragraphs protrude into the margin.

- Autograph (in part) manuscript, consisting of papers in Italian, English and other languages concerning the contemporary political history and the intellectual and social life of England (f. 1-262), Holland (f. 265-422), Denmark (f. 424-476) and Poland (f. 477-503). The collection includes autograph rough notes and drafts of memoranda, often with extensive revisions, copies and translations of political papers, a few original letters and a few printed papers. The English section includes "Memorie del'ingresso del Duca d'Oranges in Inghilterra e dell'uscita de Giacomo;" sketches of the careers and characters of politicians, courtiers, etc.; memoranda concerning English domestic and foreign politics; a list of "le donne piu belle di Londra;" lists of publications concerning the Popish plot (1679-83) and other books published in England; translations of parliamentary speeches and 11 letters from a Tuscan diplomat in London to Magalotti's secretary, May to July, 1678.
