- A group of London merchants met on 8 March 1769 in the pub the "King's Arms" to address the King and express confidence in the current government, but it desolved into a fist fight. The participants are identified in the British Museum catalogue as Mr. Tooke, Mr. Muilman, a Mr. Reynolds (fl. 1769) and Charles Dingley.
