An engraved admission ticket with the St. Paul's Cathedral in a rondel in the center flanked on the left with an figure of a boy in a niche with the words "Naked & ye clothed us" below and on the right a girl, also in a niche, with the words "Ignorance & ye instructed us" below. "The principal belle (right) stoops from the waist with dropped arms (the fashionable attitude), a reticule dangling from her right hand, towards a beau who is arm-in-arm with a Life Guards officer; the latter looks over his shoulder with an insolent stare. A dog shaved in the French manner barks at the lady's short petticoats. The women's dress resembles that of other caricatures of this date except that it is high to the neck. The men wear short-waisted tail-coats with loose and short trousers, generally striped, high collars, and swathed neck-cloths. A collection of prints and drawings probably assembled in the late 1830s or early 1840s, although the drawings may have been executed earlier. The wash drawings by Agnes Berry are of mostly Italian sites in Genoa, Florence, Naples, Rome, and Nice with one drawing of Mont Cenis in France. The lithographs are more varied in theme and include: two engravings after paintings by Raphael, possibly removed from an illustrated book; etchings and lithographs of carriages and coaches; lithographs of buildings; a group of four etchings by Henry Monnier and two lithographs by Delpach; and nine etchings and engravings of contemporary actors and actresses in theatrical costumes. All images have been mounted and most have been captioned, probaby by Margret Graves
