The gated entrance and front of a Western style stone church is shown behind a low stone wall. A cross can be seen on the roof above the pediment. There is no handwriting on the back of the postcard.

Thysstad – Kerk en toren.” A small brick mission church is depicted with the steeple sitting on blocks next to the church. The caption is printed on the back of the postcard. There is no handwriting on the back.
“Eglise de Kangu (Mayombe). Kangu Kerk. (Mayombe).” A large, brick, Western style mission church with twin towers is depicted. Native plantings are seen at the side. “Missions de Scheut. Kangu.
