"Castlereagh, wearing the caped coat (blue with red facings, for the Windsor uniform) of a bell-man over his own fashionable trousers, &c., stands in a London street in profile to the left, ringing his bell and shouting with his hand cupped to his mouth. The Queen looks from a first-floor window (in Wood's house in South Audley Street, see British Museum Satires No. 13734), holding a disk inscribed '2/6'. Castlereagh: "Stolen or Strayed, Lost or Miss led, a fine Old Buck of the Hanoverian Breed the Prime of the Herd in good condition, rather thick about the Ancle's, most graceful in his action, full about the Neck & Chops, his Rump erect, Haunches square, quick in his paces when persueing or persued, is extremely fond of his Antlers or Horns; which he seems particularly desirous of showing, was last seen in the Neighbourhood of Virginia Water, which it is supposed he mistook for the Lake of Como, being then seen toying with a remarkable fine Doe & her full grown Kid, having left his former Doe, who has been ever since worried by a set of Mongrel Animals, who ever will give information of his retreat or if any accident has befallen him, or if straying with any of the wild does of that neighbourhood [a phrase in brackets erased] so that he may be restored to the Herd a Crown will be the Reward!!" The Queen says: "aye Master Bell Man if you can but restore him it will be worth Half a Crown to me.""--British Museum online catalogue

Two ladders placed against a tall brick wall signed, "Treasury," reach an open window at the top. In it stands a man, perhaps the Duke of Portland, with a yoke on his shoulders and bunches of grapes hanging from each end. At the top of the ladders are, from left, Fox and North, both reaching for the grapes while at the same time emptying their bowels. Their excrement falls into the mouths of those climbing immediately after them; on Fox's ladder it is Sheridan. This process is repeated down to the last climbers. Each ladder is supported by a group of men gaping toward its top with their mouths open in expectation of the spoils

"Fox stoops to support on his back Horne Tooke, who is about to climb into the window of 'St Stephe[n's] Chap[el]', the name on a slab over the door, partly cut off by the right margin. The door is being closed by Lord Temple, who says: "He shall not pollute this holy Temple". Tooke rests his right foot on Fox's back, his hands grasping the sill; his left toe is in a cranny in the wall above a placard headed: 'Old Sarum Dilly takes only one at the Brazenface'. He looks down at Fox, saying, "don't give way I am not quite in Yet". Fox, his head towards the door, one foot supported on a book: 'Powerfull Reasons for Non attendance', says: "Come on with you!! and mind and button your great Coat to hide the Old Cassock." Tooke's greatcoat hangs open, showing his coat, and the skirt of a short cassock over knee-breeches. On the wall beside him is a torn placard: 'A New Edition The Diversions of Purley by the Rev John H...' The keystone of the arch over the door, on the extreme right, is a satyr's head, leering at Tooke with protruding tongue."--British Museum online catalogue
