A middle aged woman in a Welsh hat (the Princess of Wales) looks from between the curtains and listens with pleasure to the charlatan. The zany of the quack is a gaunt man in a Scotch plaid dressing gown and a tall fool's cap and holding a copy of "The Briton" under his arm and a horn in his girdle
