"The Prince of Wales, on horseback, figures as a life-like equestrian statue (of the future George IV) mounted on a pedestal of three rectangular blocks, diminishing in size. On the middle block: 'PATER URBIUM subscribi Statuis." Juvel'. The Prince, in regimentals, very fat, sits in profile to the left, holding a drawn sabre. He holds the left curb rein, the snaffle lying on the animal's neck. The toe of his spurred boot is in the stirrup. He wears a feathered cocked hat, a star on his breast and on his hat, a broad sash round his ample waist. A large holster hangs from the saddle beneath which is a leopard-skin with a 'GR' and crown on each corner. The horse's near foreleg and off hind leg are raised. Beneath the design: '"------"I saw him with his Beaver on "His Cuisses on his Thighs gallantly arm'ed "Rise from the ground like feather 'd Mercury "And vaulted with such ease into his seat "As if an Angel dropt down from the Clouds, "To turn & wind a fiery Pegasus "And witch the world with noble Horsemanship - Kg Henry 4th'."--British Museum online catalogue.

"Lord Barrymore and his two brothers are represented as figurines on the shelf of a chimney-piece, along which the title is etched. Each stands on a circular pedestal inscribed: (left to right) 'A Hell-gate Blackguard', 'A Newgate Scrub', and 'A Cripplegate Monster', the three brothers being known as Newgate, Hellgate, and Cripplegate. In the centre Barrymore, as Scrub, is seated as in Act iii of Farquhar's play, when in conference with Archer: dressed in livery and wearing an apron, his hands on his knees (cf. BMSat 6221). On the left Augustus Barry, stripped to the waist and wearing boxing-gloves with a high hat, stands in the attitude of a pugilist, which his extreme thinness makes ridiculous. On the right Henry Barry grins and capers, holding a toy whirligig. He wears the fashionable dress of the bloods of the moment: high hat, long tight breeches reaching almost to the ankle, short wrinkled top-boots with enormous spurs. His coat is slipping off his shoulders and fastened by one button (a caricature of the fashion); all have cropped hair, cf. BMSat 8040, &c. Over Barrymore's head is the lower part of a bust-portrait of the Prince of Wales in an oval frame."--British Museum online catalogue.

"A scene at a faro-table; part of the table, including an angle of the central well, stretches across the foreground, players and spectators sit and stand behind it. Lady Archer is the most prominent; she holds a pack of cards in one hand, a knave in the other, looking with a triumphantly rapacious smile at a stout lady (? Mrs. Hobart) who sits (right) clenching her fists and scowling back. All the others have expressions of alarm or concern, the least agitated being the Prince of Wales, seated on Lady Archer's left. On the extreme right and next Mrs. Hobart is Fox, turning up his eyes. The guests (except the Prince) are much caricatured; one of Gillray's witch-like hags sits between the Prince and Mrs. Hobart. On the table are heaps of coins, notes or bills, and rouleaux of guineas. Above the design is etched 'The Knave wins all'. ..."--British Museum online catalogue.

George III, dressed as an old woman, the Queen, and the Prince of Wales in a fool's cap decorated with his three feathers, are seated around a basin perched on the laps of the King and Queen, marked "John Bull's Blood" and filled with gold coins. All three eagerly spoon the coins into their mouths. Pouches hanging from their necks like goitres are full, except for that of the Prince of Wales, whose is empty. In the background is a wide open gate to the Treasury.

A satire on the Prince of Wales's relations with Lady Salisbury, the pair shown holding hands on the right, while her husband, drawn as a block of stone, stamps angrily in the center. Between them is Mrs. Robinson, who had been deserted by the Prince, and on the left 5 figures are dancing in a circle.

"Mrs. Fitzherbert stands beside a dressing-table, her head turned in profile to the left, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She wears petticoat and stays, with a tiara inscribed 'Ich [dien]' and head-dress of three ostrich feathers and drapery. She is very buxom, with conspicuously large breasts, but is about to place a pad or frame across her bust which will increase her 'enbonpoint'. Above the dressing-table hangs an oval bust-portrait of the Prince of Wales surmounted by a crown and 'ich. dien'."--British Museum online catalogue.

"The Prince of Wales, very fat and pompous, in night-cap, dressing-gown, and slippers, walks in profile along a corridor leading from his own door (right), above which are his coronet and feathers, towards that of Lady Jersey, which is wide open and reveals its occupant holding apart the bed-curtains with a gap-toothed grin. Lord Jersey, dwarfish, shambling, and elderly, dressed in nightcap and night-shirt (on which is a 'J' with a coronet), stands by the door, holding a candle and pointing to the bed; he raises his night-cap deferentially to the Prince, who says, with contemptuous arrogance, 'va-t-en' (see BMSat 8809). The Prince walks on a fringed strip of carpet. On the open door behind Lord Jersey is 'A [torn] Map of the Road into the Harbour of Jer[sey]'; the islands of 'Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and [Je]rsey' are depicted, with a route leading to Jersey (cf. BMSat 8810)."--British Museum online catalogue.

"The Princess of Wales (left), candle in hand, approaches the bed of the Prince, who wakes up, raising his hands in dismay. Lady Jersey (here, an attractive woman, cf. BMSat 8811) is asleep, her head on the Prince's shoulder, her arms round his neck. The distressed Princess wears a coronet and triple ostrich plume, her right arm is flung back. Behind her (left) is an open door through which is seen the baby princess in a cradle ornamented with the Prince's feathers, with which his bed is also decorated. On the twisting draperies of the bed is the star of the Garter. Above the Princess's head hangs a 'Map of the Road back to Brunswick'."--British Museum online catalogue.
