In both cases the words beginning with the diphthong come first, followed, in alphabetical order, by those in which the diphthong is in another position ("in mediis"). In the introductory text spaces have been left open for the Greek words, which have not been added.

There are guide letters and space for a 4-line initial on f. 1r and a 2-line initial on f. 1v, but neither initial has been executed., Script: One hand, writing an imperfect Humanistica Semitextualis Libraria, using tironian et instead of the ampersand and mixing ae and ẹ., and The paper at places damaged by the acid ink.

Description:
Argumenta of Guarino of Verona in red rustic capitals preceding each title; spaces for decorative initials never filled., Binding: Sixteenth century (?). Vellum stays. Original sewing on three slit, tawed straps. Primary, plain and secondary, beaded endbands on twisted, tawed cores, laid in grooves and pegged or nailed. Spine lined with tawed skin, mostly lacking. Straps laced and pegged or nailed into beech boards covered in (originally) brick-red leather, blind-tooled with an inscription in a border around an inner panel of overlapping circles interspersed with dots. Four flower-shaped bosses on each board and two catches on the lower one. Two bosses and clasp straps wanting., Watermarks: similar to Briquet Lettre R.8941 and Harlfinger Fleche 12., and Written in humanistic script by three scribes. The principal scribe, Franciscus Seroddi Centinomius Phylaretus, wrote ff. 1r-72v and 79r-84v; he signed the manuscript on ff. 72v and 84v. Scribe 2 wrote ff. 74r-78v and Scribe 3 the notes on ff. 85r-87v. Marginal and interlinear glosses in several contemporary hands.

Binding: Parchment wrappers with turned edges., Contemporary pagination contains some errors., Red stroking of majuscules on pp. 1-11, 22-31, 44-51, 64-73, 88-93 only.There is ample space for headings and initials (with guide letters), but they have not been executed, except headings in Gothica Textualis on pp. 46, 49, 51, 66, 71, 92; plain red Gothic initials (4 lines) on pp. 46 , 49, 51, 66, 71, 92; a few initials have been entered at a later date., and Script: Copied by two scribes: artt. 1-3 copied by a scribe called Stephanus in Humanistica Semitextualis Libraria; according to Barbero this scribe is perhaps identifiable with Stefano Guarnieri; art. 4 is by a scribe writing a script halfway between Humanistica Textualis Libraria and Cursiva Libraria. The opening majuscules of paragraphs protrude into the margin.
