Over 300 newsletters from London addressed to "Madam Pole of Radbourn near Derby" (possibly Anne Morice Pole, daughter of Sir William Morice). The newsletters contain much information about the War of the Grand Alliance, particularly rumors of diplomatic negotiations and naval campaigns; the Holy Roman Empire's relations with the Turks; and trade with the colonies in America and the East Indies. Other topics include possible plots against William and Mary; the conduct of the nonjuring bishops; the election of Innocent XII; and the death and funeral of Queen Mary.

Scribal manuscript, on paper, in a single unidentified hand, in italic, containing the texts of 47 poems by Thomas Carew, some of which have corrections in his hand. Corrected texts include "A Rapture," "To Ben Johnson," "Lipps and Eyes," "To the Countess of Anglesey," and "An Elegie on the La: Pen:." Most of the poems in the volume are lyrics, sonnets and dialogues addressed to "Celia," but the volume also includes "To Saxham" and a group of elegies.

An anonymous treatise on the Arab conquest of North Africa under the leadership of ʻUqbah ibn ʻĀmir (died 678), a companion of the Prophet Muḥammad who became the governor of Egypt and died there. The present manuscript is the first book (al-sifr al-awwal) of the original work, dealing with the conquest from al-Mahdīyah to Sāṭīf (localities in North Africa). Copied by Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm of Banū Ṣāliḥ on Wednesday, 1 Shaʻbān, 1083 Hijrī (22 November, 1672). Place of copying not mentioned.
