- The manuscript contains a book of hours, use of Sarum (ff. 1-138v), and a Missal (ff. 139r-236v). It was produced in England, in liturgical Gothic bookhand on vellum, in two phases. The first section, consisting of quires 1 and 3-18 (ff. 1-6, 17-83, and 86-137), was produced around 1390, perhaps in London. Around 1420 the manuscript was augmented with a second section, consisting of quires 2 and 19-31 (ff. 7-16, 84-85, and 138-236).

- Binding: 17th-18th centuries. White parchment over pasteboard, the covers gold-tooled (but the gold almost entirely lost) with frames of fillets, four lozenge-shaped floral stamps in the corners and a large lozenge-shaped floral stamp in the center. The spine, with five raised bands, gold-tooled, with a red leather title label in the second compartment with the gold-tooled inscription: "SERVIUS / IN / VIRGILI / M.SS." Sprinkled edges., No headings. Unevenly spread alternately red and blue paragraph marks. 3- or 4-line plain initials in red or blue, with guide letters; art. 9 opens with a 7-line plain initial in red. On f. 1r art. 1 opens with a 7-line Gothic foliate initial in blue and red, with green tendrils, on a rectangular background. The page is decorated with a golden staff in inner, upper and outer margins, around which a green tendril carrying red and blue leaves and gold vine leaves is wound. In the lower margin a wild man in a lion's skin (Hercules?) is painted standing between two rocky hills and carrying two coats of arms., and Script: Copied by one hand in Gothico-Humanistica Semitextualis Libraria with numerous abbreviations. Incipits are written in a large and more calligraphic version of the same script.

- Complete, with signature marks a-x in the centre lower margin of the rectos of the first half of each gathering, 40 lines written in brown ink in a semi-cursive bookhand between 2 verticals and 41 horizontals ruled in pink, justification: 244 x 135mm, one-line initials of liquid gold on grounds of red or blue, line-endings of similar colours, each 'Harangue' opening with a four- or five-line illuminated initial of gold and colours of varying forms, including architectural, foliate or zoomorphic staves, Full-page frontispiece miniature in architectural frame. 16th-century green velvet, brass pins and enamelled brass clasps with the arms of Franois II, duc de La Rochefoucauld and his wife Anne of Polignac, boards replaced by the Bibliothque nationale in Paris in 1879. From the library of Anne De Polignac. Original binding. and Manuscript of Harangues et oraisons des anciens. With fragments of 15th-century printed books from Angoulieve and related notes and letters.

- Manuscript on parchment of a Book of Hours for the use of a convent.
- Description:
- Binding: Seventeenth century. Damaged brownish pigskin over bevelled wooden boards, the covers blind-tooled with frames of fillets and rolls; the central rectangle on the front cover, otherwise free, is decorated with a large oval stamp, heavily worn but probably picturing the Virgin in the Sun. Spine with three raised bands. Remnants of two brass clasps attached to the rear cover. Marks of a chain attachment at the bottom of the rear cover. Red edges., Headings and rubrics in red. Heightening of majuscules in red. 1-line red versals; 2-line plain initials (sometimes slightly decorated) in red. Intricate large flourished cadels in black filled with red in the texts accompanying musical notation. Art. 4 opens with a 6-line littera duplex in red and brownish red with red penwork. Guide letters for all initials. On f. 29v full-page picture of the crowned Virgin and Child, Mary presenting a flower to the Child, on a flowery pink background in a green and red rectangular frame., On some pages the ink is very faded., and Script: Copied mainly by one hand writing Northern Textualis Formata in two sizes with Central European features. A second less formal hand copied ff. 29r, lines 11-18 and 30r-31v, i.e. the beginning of art. 2. Musical notation in Nota Quadrata.
