- Manuscript on paper of Guarinus Veronensis (Guarino da Verona, 1374-1460), De diphthongis, consisting mainly of annotated lists of words containing the diphthongs "ae" and "oe" successively. In both cases the words beginning with the diphthong come first, followed, in alphabetical order, by those in which the diphthong is in another position ("in mediis"). In the introductory text spaces have been left open for the Greek words, which have not been added.

There are guide letters and space for a 4-line initial on f. 1r and a 2-line initial on f. 1v, but neither initial has been executed., Script: One hand, writing an imperfect Humanistica Semitextualis Libraria, using tironian et instead of the ampersand and mixing ae and ẹ., and The paper at places damaged by the acid ink.

- Binding: Fifteenth century, Italy. Sewn on three tawed skin, slit straps laced through tunnels in the edges of beech boards to channels on the outside and nailed. Natural color endbands, beaded on the spine, were sewn on tawed skin cores laid in grooves in the boards and nailed. There is tawed skin under the endband tie downs. Covered in green (?) tawed skin with a strip of red leather, 19th-20th centuries, added on the spine. Two truncated diamond catches with the IHS monogram within a sunburst (as used by St. Bernardinus of Siena) on the lower board. The upper board is cut in for clasp straps which are a later addition. Both clasps and catches have the word AVE. The title De re uxoria written in ink on both head and tail edges. The boards are badly worm eaten., Illuminated initial, f. 4r, 4-line, gold on blue, green, and red ground with yellow and white filigree. In lower border wreathed medallion with ribbons on either side, bearing the arms of Rainerius de Maschis of Rimini; the initials R and A, in gold, on either side of shield. Headings, paragraph marks, punctuation and marginalia, in red., Purchased from H. P. Kraus in 1955 by Thomas E. Marston., Script: Part I (ff. 1-3): Written in a small neat humanistic cursive by a single scribe, above top line. Part II (ff. 4-67): Written in a slanting humanistic bookhand with gothic features by a single scribe, above top line., and Watermarks: Part I: unidentified two-wheeled wagon. Plain initials and paragraph marks alternate in blue and red; headings in red. - Argumenta of Guarino of Verona in red rustic capitals preceding each title; spaces for decorative initials never filled., Binding: Sixteenth century (?). Vellum stays. Original sewing on three slit, tawed straps. Primary, plain and secondary, beaded endbands on twisted, tawed cores, laid in grooves and pegged or nailed. Spine lined with tawed skin, mostly lacking. Straps laced and pegged or nailed into beech boards covered in (originally) brick-red leather, blind-tooled with an inscription in a border around an inner panel of overlapping circles interspersed with dots. Four flower-shaped bosses on each board and two catches on the lower one. Two bosses and clasp straps wanting., Watermarks: similar to Briquet Lettre R.8941 and Harlfinger Fleche 12., and Written in humanistic script by three scribes. The principal scribe, Franciscus Seroddi Centinomius Phylaretus, wrote ff. 1r-72v and 79r-84v; he signed the manuscript on ff. 72v and 84v. Scribe 2 wrote ff. 74r-78v and Scribe 3 the notes on ff. 85r-87v. Marginal and interlinear glosses in several contemporary hands.
