In Latin., Script: written in large gothic script (littera textualis)., and Decoration: 2-line hymn initials alternate red and blue; 1-line verse initials are in red; rubrics are in red in the same script as the text; guides to the rubricator are written in the outer margin of fol. 1r in a cursive hand; punctuated with the punctus; hyphenation is in the same ink as the text; in the outer margin of fol. 1r a fifteenth-century hand (littera cursiva libraria) has added the incipit for the hymn "Agnoscat omne seculum" several lines above where the text of the hymn begins.

In Latin. and Decoration: initial "N" in light pink decorated with white foliate patterns around the outer edge of the letter and white dots around the inner edge; the ends of the letter terminate in green and yellow; the letter is on a gold geometric ground that is outlined in black and filled with green, pink, and red leaves attached to a blue vine and with balls that are half white and half blue or green.
